Rick Fenley

Owner/Instructor Rick Fenley holds a 4th degree black belt from the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) in Seoul, South Korea. Sensei Fenley started his training in 1969, training in Shaolin Kung Fu, Karate, Wing Chun, and Hapkido. He then joined Missouri Martial Arts in 1999, studying under Master Bob Wheeler and Grandmaster Chang Hee Yoon.

Bob Wheeler

Instructor Master Bob Wheeler holds a 5th degree black belt from the WTF. Master Wheeler was the original owner of Missouri Martial Arts for 17 years and was one of Grandmaster Yoon’s best students. He was won many local and state tournaments and competed in several national tournaments. Master Wheeler received his Master Certificate directly from the Kukkiwon school. Master Wheeler also holds a 1st degree black belt in Judo from the Korea Judo Association.

John Moseley

John Moseley is head judo instructor for Missouri Martial Arts. John was a direct student of Grandmaster Yoon, receiving his black belt in Judo in 1988. John holds certifications through the Korea Judo Association as well as the his current USA Judo rank of Sandan, or 3rd degree black belt. John also holds a Kukkiwon-certified black belt in taekwondo from Grandmaster Yoon. In addition to teaching, John also currently serves in the role of Secretary for Missouri Judo Inc., the representative body for USA Judo in Missouri.

Tim Checkett

Tim Checkett has studied with Missouri Martial Arts since 2004. Tim was one of the original Judo students at Missouri Martial Arts, receiving his black belt in 2014. Tim also holds a Kukkiwon-certified black belt in Taekwondo.

Matt Mays

Matt Mays received his black belt in Judo in 2014. Matt has been with Missouri Martial Arts since 2009, where he also holds the rank of 1st degree red belt in Taekwondo.
